- 5-10+ years of AutoCAD experience (being able to navigate model space as well as multiple paper spaces, able to plot to scale, good understanding of units especially decimal feet, understanding of blocks and groups, importing PDFs into drawings, XREFS)
- Experience working with and proficiency in Microsoft office programs.
- Ability to read and understand Engineering plans and drawings.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills with the ability to speak directly with customers and clients.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.

Overview:
Florida Engineering is currently seeking a Civil Design Project Manager to join our growing team and be a part of our Civil Engineering team. This candidate would work very closely with our engineering team and field personnel. As Civil Designer you will be responsible for generating site and septic plans from the surveys and house plans based on site evaluations. The ideal candidate for this position shall be very familiar with AutoCAD. This is one of our growing divisions and we complete hundreds of projects weekly.
Ideally this candidate could bring to the table his/her expertise in-house and contribute to our firm by having the knowledge of in-field/on-site construction, particularly residential construction.
This role does not require you to be an engineer, nor are we expecting that. What we are targeting is someone who understands the installation behind the work and is familiar with reading plans to be able to find errors or identify mistakes.
