APS is looking to hire a Hose Technician Specialist to service, assemble and install hoses for several customer bases such as manufacturing, construction, agricultural and rental companies, along with walk in customers.


As a APS Hose Technician Specialist, you will be operating out of our shop or our mobile hose workshop truck and be carrying out service calls in the local area The Hose Technician must provide a high level of customer service, responding to customer needs and working to satisfy customer expectations within a timely manner.

In this role, you are responsible to cut, fabricate, test, and certify hose assemblies to customer specifications and drawings. This position is also responsible for providing will call/counter sales for walk in customers.


What you will be doing:


  • Test and certify hose assemblies to a maximum pressure of 10,000 PSI.
  • Create custom tagging for all hose assemblies.
  • Cut and fabricate hose assemblies to customer specifications and drawings.
  • Utilize tools such as custom crimpers, saws, hand tools, measuring devices for hose fabrication.
  • Creating PTS ID for hose assemblies.
  • Effective communications skills verbal and written
  • Availability for counter/will call sales for walk in customers
  • Availability to operate our mobile hose service truck, and perform field service calls
  • Understanding of basic products and services
  • Any other duties as assigned by management
