We are a busy Gastroenterology practice located in the Encino looking for a motivated back office Medical Assistant who is self-directed, organized, and who is able to work efficiently and independently.

Time management skills and organizational skills are essential. Able to multi-task, have a positive attitude and must be a team player

A minimum of 1 year experience as a Front/Back Office Medical Assistant working in a fast pace environment. Gastroenterology knowledge preferred but not necessary.

• Greet patients, Recording patient demographics and 10am update as necessary. Entering vitals into EMR system (Allscripts) 15+patients on a daily basis.
• Preparing patient exam rooms
• Assisting with inoffice procedures, SIBO
• Assist in answering phones and scheduling follow up appointments
• Must be able to use quick judgement and learn quickly. Be self sufficient. Will work closely with providers. Assist providers as necessary and/or office flow.
• Assist provider in Spanish translation
• Any other duties assigned as needed

Pay:
From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
