Overview:


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated male Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need.

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping clients maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

This is a paid position with opportunities for career advancement.


Duties:


  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including dressing and grooming.
  • Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living areas and doing laundry
  • Accompany clients to appointments or social outings
  • Engage in meaningful conversation and provide emotional support to clients
  • Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or similar role preferred
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client's privacy
  • Reliable transportation to travel to client's homes
  • Must pass a background check
  • Only qualified, experienced and educated need apply

Pay:
$ $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 60 per week

Education:


  • Associate (preferred)

  • Dementia care: 3 years (preferred)
  • Caregiving: 3 years (required)

  • Driver's License (required)
