Nationwide IT Services, NIS, is seeking a Standard Procurement System (SPS) Procurement Desktop-Defense (PD2) Administrator to support the USAMRAA SPS/PD2 operational community in a functional and technical capacity.
This position provides Tier III helpdesk support for the USAMRAA SPS operational user community, supporting functional systems and ensuring systems maintain operational status to support ongoing mission requirements and needs.
The position requires technical administrative support and must have the capability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across a spectrum of technologies including but not limited to the SPS Sybase ASE database, SPS Adapter, webMethods integrations, SPS Application Server Framework (ASF), Power BI, and the SPS PD2 client.
Will provide Tier III helpdesk support in support of USAMRAA users and collaborate with external organizations to resolve both technical and functional issues affecting SPS systems and USAMRAA end users (SPS/CACI helpdesk, GFEBS helpdesk, AESD, DLA/GEX, DHA helpdesk, etc.).
- Indepth knowledge of electronic contracting systems, acquisitionrelated integrations, contractual reporting requirements, and other acquisitionrelated systems including, but not limited to, the Standard Procurement Systems (SPS)/Procurement Desktop-Defense (PD2),
- Virtual Contracting Enterprise (VCE), Procurement Data Standards (PDS), Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), Electronic Data Access (EDA), System for Award Management (SAM), General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), and Federal Procurement Data Systems-Next Generation (FPDS-NG).
- Administer the SPS/PD2 electronic contracting system and configure, update, and maintain the SPS/PD2 electronic contracting systems including Sybase ASE, My Web Methods, Web Methods Integration Server, the PD2 Adapter, the PD2 client software, the Application Server Framework (ASF), and Windows Server Operating Systems.
- Ensuring organizationoperated acquisition systems conform to all Information Assurance (IA) requirements, as defined by the Information Assurance Manager (IAM), to obtain and maintain an Authority to Operate (ATO).
- Assist the IAM by providing support for IA requirements such as vulnerability mitigation (patching), ensuring the acquisition systems components are configured per Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG), performing Ports, Protocols, and Services Management (PPSM) for acquisition systems connectivity requirements, providing information for Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), and establishing appropriate configuration per DoD IA requirements.
- Function as a Tier III Help Desk support element, providing both technical and functional support to organization personnel including the troubleshooting and resolution of issues affecting acquisition systems, development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and interfacing with the SPS Help Desk as needed.
- Create, manage, and execute reports for acquisitionrelated requirements and taskers via Standard Query Language (SQL), , VCE, or other acquisitionrelated Business Intelligence systems.
- Utilize Enterpriseprovided management tools to perform tasks outlined within this PWS including, but not limited to, Splunk, Active Directory, Group Policy, Bomgar, and Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP).
- Experience with PowerShell and Batch scripting.
- Basic knowledge of image authoring tools to crop, resize, or perform minor adjustments on an image.
- UI/UX understanding to make minor adjustments to deliver finished resources.
- Experience with Drupal Themes and Plugin Customization and Modification
Education:
- Computer Science or Engineering degree desired.
