    Overview:


    Under the direction of the Head of Content and Creative, and in close collaboration with product management leads, this position helps develop creative strategies and manages the production flow of all Marketing activities in Commercial Marketing.

    This position will require a dedicated, multi-tasking professional with a strong comprehension in creative processes, audience-driven communication production, and project management.

    Key areas of focus will be creative brief development, process development, project tracking, and assigning work to writers, designers and agency partners.

    It requires a keen ability to capture and communicate critical information to ensure marketing materials deliver quality, consistency and brand cohesion.


    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the development, management and enhancement of project/scheduling processes, procedures and systems.
    • Responsible for co-developing creative briefs with cross-functional partners requesting creative assets.
    • Keep project schedules up to date, trouble shooting and keeping the Marketing department appraised on all projects. Publish weekly, quarterly and annual output reports.
    • Present process improvement ideas and effectively manage workflow within the Marketing department.
    • Manage resources, facilitate meetings and communicate direction to both internal and external team members.
    • Present communication recommendations based on marketing objectives to ensure alignment with cross-functional teams.
    • Serve as department point person when communicating issues with multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
    • Develop action plans for implementation and communication with other departments to ensure timely completion.
    • Assist in preparing budgets for marketing initiatives and promotions as required.
    • Coordinate Marketing projects associated with the professional and retail channels.
    • Active role in supporting and coordinating channel specific trade shows.
    • Actively participate in content creative briefing, development and proofing of marketing materials such as collateral, POP, web, customer communications and video productions.
    • Perform all other duties as required.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    • Must understand and have experience implementing processes to manage overall department output in a Marketing or Advertising environment.
    • Must be experienced in the development of Marketing programs and creative materials.
    • Must have understanding and experience in creative brief development.
    • Must have basic technical understanding of print, video, and web production.


    Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an Advertising Agency or in-house Marketing department working in a management, trafficking, creative development or production capacity.


    Desired:
    Experience training and managing people.


    Education/Training:

    Required:
    Bachelors degree in Marketing or Communications. Additional training in website and content development.

    Knowledge and/or specific skills necessary to do the job:


    • Keen knowledge in the development of Marketing materials from briefing to asset archiving.
    • Leadership skills with the ability to manage people to achieve business and department objectives.
    • Team building skills with the ability to build high moral and group commitments to goals and objectives.
    • Ability to be organized and pay meticulous attention to details. Organize and schedule people or tasks to develop realistic action plans.
    • Broad based knowledge and familiarity of various media productions and standards.
    • Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
    • Able to take large initiatives and successfully follow through on projects.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Highly motivated with high level of commitment to the job.
    • Ability to develop and implement processes to improve project efficiencies.
    • Analytical skills with the ability to take a systematic approach to problem solving.
    • Good working knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Creative Software and Workflow Management software.
    • Ability to add value in the development of creative materials. Skills in copywriting and/or ability to add insightful ideas when critiquing marketing materials.
    • Ability to Manage multiple Tasks simultaneously
    • Project management skills with the ability to maintain a 30,000 ft. view while ensuring individual tasks are carried out.
