    Job Description: The Role

    The Fidelity Brokerage Technology Trade Processing development group is looking for an Associate Software Full Stack developer with 0-2 years of experience, who has a great passion for technology and some exposed to the newest technology trends in Software development. In this role, you will be essential member in Java Development (JEE, Spring, Maven, GIT), UI/UX Development (Javascript and Angular) and Cloud Computing (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Serverless, Lambda)

    The Expertise and Skills You Bring

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent.
    • Strong fundamental knowledge in Java, Spring Boot and relevant frameworks.
    • Basic knowledge in design, development, and consumption of RESTful APIs.
    • Exposure to Docker containers, Kubernetes and its optimization is highly preferable.
    • Involvement with CI/CD Pipeline, building robust Cloud ready scalable APIs and background processes.
    • Some knowledge in cloud computing and AWS Native services is huge plus.
    • Working knowledge of UI/UX technologies (Javascript, CSS/HTML 5, Angular)
    • Ability to quickly learn, adapt and strive to meet the needs of a fast paced and changing environment.
    • Excellent communication skills, both through written and verbal channel.
    • Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.

    The Team

    The Trade Processing Product area is part of the Core Brokerage Platform Domain. This product area is playing critical role in building Next Generation (NextGen) brokerage platform, a new platform for brokerage capabilities. The Product area is responsible for straight through, real time processing of trades including distribution of trades to downstream post-trade processing applications. The Product area is also working on various other modernization effort on Block Trade Allocation, Balancing Engine etc. The Product area supports all lines of business across Retail and Institutional businesses.

    The base salary range for this position is $53,000-$102,000 per year.

    Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

    Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
