_ You and Your Job:

As a Vice President in Sponsor Coverage, you will be successful if you can build relationships with Financial Sponsors to optimally position Rabobank for business.

Idea generation is key in building intimacy with your clients as well as staying in close and high frequency contact with your clients while being disciplined around return on investment of time and resources.

_ Job Responsibilities:
_

Idea Generation for Sponsors and Implementing Strategy

Jointly responsible for generating ideas translating the adopted strategy into a (team) business plan comprising activities and actions to be taken in order to achieve goals.

Contributes towards the coordination and ensures the proper execution of the business plan. Helps drive the local SC business strategy in alignment with the global AF&SC strategy.

Network Building & Sharing
Actively builds, broadens, applies and shares professional networks and insights.

(Existing) Internal networks to be developed and fostered hereby actively engaging in certain F&A subsector discussions and by being a point person within SC for one or several subsectors and expected to be an active contributor to subsector group discussions and strategizing regardless of whether or not certain topics are of immediate benefit to sponsors.

Sponsor Coverage
Responsible for maintaining, broadening and deepening targeted sponsor relationships. Responsible for a structured and consistent approach of financial sponsor coverage and planning. Drives, develops and maintains relationships with financial sponsors and prospects in order to generate leads in an early stage. Execution on the design, and composition of materials for strategic pitches. Serves as a trusted and reliable partner who looks after his relationships in a responsible way. Captures client related activities and actions clearly in the according systems.

(Support in) Originating Deals

Seeks to pro-actively improve the efficiency of internal processes and internal cooperation and champions internal cross-departmental and cross border cooperation.

Challenges the way of working and comes with solutions to improve efficiency or having a bigger impact as sponsor coverage.

role, you must have:

4-7 years of relevant private equity/sponsor coverage/investment banking experience.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Affinity and understanding of debt & loan products.
Deal execution experience.
Strategic thinking M&A skills.

- (Optional) Experience in working in cross border teams.
