- Independently troubleshoot equipment malfunctions promptly, minimizing production downtime.
- Conduct repairs, including motor replacements, gearbox fixes, and other essential machine component repairs, often with minimal supervision.
- Utilize VOM meters and interpret electrical schematics to undertake necessary electrical repairs on packaging equipment.
- Read and interpret pneumatic/electrical schematics, effecting essential repairs on all packaging equipment.
- Operate maintenance equipment like milling machines, lathes, and other specialized tools crucial for task completion.
- Engage in facilities maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, wiring through conduit piping, and supporting senior mechanics with other facility maintenance issues or installations.
- Familiarity with using VOM meter and basic understanding of how to read electrical schematics. PLC programming/troubleshooting and motor controls troubleshooting required. 24V-480 electrical troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of how to read pneumatic schematics.
- Familiarity with welding equipment and processes.
- Knowledge of both metric and standard units of measure.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Electrical certifications, Journeyman or Master Electrician preferred.
