Overview:


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Ownership of Talcott's Investment compliance systems and processes.
  • Coordinate the review and communication of breaches, both actual and anticipated, with internal personnel including Heads of Credit, ALM and CIO, and external entities including asset managers and reinsurance partners.
  • Update and maintain compliance policy and procedures
  • Prepare and present periodic investment compliance reporting to CIO and external partners
  • Enhance and maintain Talcott's ESG compliance processes
  • Remain updated on all regulatory changes contemplated or made while collaborating with others across Talcott including Law, Actuarial and Finance
  • Add value to various Investment Operations initiatives, especially during new business acquisitions

Qualifications:


  • 25 years of relevant compliance and/or operations experience in the investment management space
  • Bachelor's Degree with a business major focus (finance, accounting, business administration, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of investment advisory rules and regulations
  • Ability to perform research, analysis and interpret financial data
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines within a highlymatrixed environment
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and data manipulation
  • Familiarity with MS SQL queries is a plus
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Creative and proactive problemsolving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate cooperation and collaboration in a team setting
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational ability
