Overview:

The Delivery Driver is responsible for operating a Straight Truck to deliver to customers as well as Johnstone Supply locations.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

Responsibilities:

Effective team player with good communication skills that is proactive, positive, conscientious, organized and efficient.
Must be able to multitask, prioritize workload, and enjoy working in a fastpaced environment.
Communicates well verbally and in writing, in English, and in a professional manner.
Capable of representing Johnstone Supply in a respectable and professional manner.
Professional and courteous demeanor when working with customers and colleagues.
Works in various warehouse roles as instructed by manager.

**Please note that this position will act as the back-up delivery driver when needed. 26' box truck driving experience preferred.

Job-Specific Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Ability to read, write and to follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance.
Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management computer software.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.
Must be able to work overtime when required.

Education and Experience:

Required:_

High School Diploma or G.E.D
Driver's license with clean driving record.

Preferred:_

Certification to ride forklift truck preferred.
