Job Overview:
Mola is a start-up restaurant in Adams Morgan inspired by the Panamanian-Caribbean home kitchens, serving food & cocktails made from scratch, freshly pressed juices, and our own line of Panamanian coffee.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold outreach, networking, and lead generation
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, event planners, and vendors to maximize sales opportunities
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create customized menus and proposals based on client preferences and event requirements
- Prepare and present sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective clients
- Coordinate event logistics and communicate client needs to internal teams to ensure seamless execution
- Track sales activity and pipeline using CRM software, and provide regular reports to management
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in catering sales or related industry, with a minimum of 23 years of experience
- Strong understanding of the catering and events industry, including current trends and best practices
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment
- Proficiency with CRM software
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Compensation:
- Uncapped commission
Pay:
$50, $150,000.00 per year
