Growing optometry practice located near downtown San Rafael is seeking an optometric assistant/optician.


Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet and welcome patients and visitors
• Check-in patients and verify information, including health insurance details
• Handle incoming calls professionally
• Schedule and confirm appointments
• Verify patient insurance coverage
• Collect payments and maintain office cleanliness
• Assist with pretesting patients
• Offer frame styling guidance
• Help patients choose fashionable eyewear
• Adjust and repair eyeglasses
• Process orders and handle billing for vision insurance

Both part-time and full-time positions are available. Compensation will be determined based on experience and performance. Business hours are from Monday to Thursday (9-6), Friday (8-5), and Saturday (8-3).
