Duties:


  • Maintain contract requirements and specifications in an industry operation.
  • Explain contract requirements to contracting personnel, contractors, and reviewing officials.
  • Maintain files of surveillance, correspondence, sample determinations and other pertinent contract data.

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position requires a preemployment Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450 and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive R.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
  • Contracting Officer Representative (COR) Certification is required within 1 month of employment.
  • A 1 year probationary period may be required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.

Other Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes: Advising on contract policies and procedures to ensure contract performances (pre-award, post-award, and price/analysis) are in compliance with terms and conditions; Maintaining a contract filing system from development, pre-award, post-award and termination or closure AND Analyzing requirements for use in acquiring contracted services or products


Education:

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

  • Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
