    About us

    We are seeking an Estate Planning Attorney to join our team. Applicants must be licensed to practice law in North Carolina. We seek candidates who work well in a team environment. The ability to understand Local Rules and how they apply to Estate Planning cases is extremely important, as is the ability to solve problems and communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with clients and team members.

    Responsibilities included but not limited to:

    • Effectively solve legal problems for clients through analyzing the situation, understanding their needs, and creating a strategic plan of action.
    • Ability to draft both basic and sophisticated estate planning documents including those which incorporate estate and income tax planning including irrevocable trusts.
    • Experience catering to and addressing the planning needs of federally taxable estates.
    • Consult with potential clients to ascertain their needs and decide on the next steps.
    • Engage in matter management to ensure all cases move forward in a timely manner.

    Qualifications:

    • Must be Licensed in NC (Licensed in SC is a plus)
    • Must have a minimum of 1-3 years of Estate Planning experience.
    • Self-motivated and organized while working through multiple projects and prioritizing tasks assigned; and
    • Ability to draft written communication or verbal communication with other office staff, as well as clients and opposing attorneys.
    • Book of business is a plus but not required
