Description
The Dry Grit or Wet Bead Blast machine operator is responsible for the pre-coating dry grit or wet bead blast honing operation.
The machine operator will assure that customer material is honed to the proper surface requirements before coating.The Dry Grit or Wet Bead Blast Machine Operator is responsible for:
- The daily startup of Dry Grit or Wet Bead Blast honing equipment.
- Reporting to Honing Section Lead for job assignments and following job priorities.
- Locating, retrieving and counting customer material prior to honing.
- Auditing all processing documents before honing, including the Job Card and Traveler.
- Proper safe handling of customer parts to avoid loss or damage.
- Reporting to Production Supervisor any non-conforming conditions.
- Reporting to Production Supervisor or Operations Manager any non-working equipment or environmental issues.
- Completing all required sections of job card traveler.
- Daily upkeep (cleaning) of work station and routine maintenance of assigned honing machine(s).
- Assisting in other departments when needed.
Pay:
$ $20.00 per hour
