As an engineer at Deutsche Bahn, you ensure that the largest rail fleet in Germany is always kept running at the highest quality.

We are currently looking for you as a (Junior) Engineer / Technician as a Claims Manager (m/f/d) for DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH at our location in Hanau.
Your tasks:

You are responsible for creating claims offers and cost calculations based on the original cost estimate
You also coordinate the tracking of claims, commercial processing, and communication with the involved interfaces
You independently conduct claim negotiations with clients and handle objections and rejections to the submitted claims offers
You also develop and conduct training measures for project management, construction management, foremen, and supervisors
You support in the preparation of offers with regard to early identified claim potentials
Negotiations with subcontractors regarding their claims are also part of your responsibilities

Your profile:

You have successfully completed a degree in civil engineering or have experience as a technician in construction management, planning, and bid processing
Ideally
