Minimum qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or product roles.
  • Experience identifying and recommending ways to improve product and customer strategy.
  • Experience working with digital organizations.
  • Experience with search advertising, Search Engine Marketing (SEM), or shopping ads.

Preferred qualifications:


  • Experience coaching advertisers in the use of the Google Ads, Google Shopping or Search Ads 360 platforms.
  • Experience working with large, complex and sophisticated digital organizations.
  • Ability to provide thought leadership and effectively lead discussions at Clevel/Director level.
  • Ability to deliver insights from data that creates business value and drives client action.
  • Demonstrated success with solutionbased selling.

The Modern Search team is a critical link between Product and Sales at Google.

We combine our deep knowledge of the Search platform and thought leadership on product innovation into custom client solutions that enable our advertisers to get the most out of their spend with Google.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world's biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands.

We enjoy a bird's eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age.

We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$169,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities:


  • Translate customer overarching business objectives and more granular marketing objectives into Searchspecific advertising strategies.
  • Establish strong 1:1 partnerships with Sales and other Specialist teams to proactively identify, prioritize, and pursue Search opportunities.
  • Lead conversations across all aspects of Search (e.g., advancing customer adoption of automation, omnibidding, budgets, coverage, creative excellence, and audiences).
  • Provide feedback to our product management and technical support organizations to influence feature prioritization and issue resolution to enable customer success.
  • Utilize expertise to help Search specialists and Sales teams.
