We are seeking an
Executive Assistant to join our team.

This role will support the executive team located primarily in the Los Angeles area but also in different time zones.

We strongly want to emphasize that this role is not a path for A&R or any other artist-facing/strategy role on our team.

This role is best suited to someone looking to expand their career in marketing, as he/she/they will not only handle administrative tasks, but also support larger business initiatives through project management, presentations, coordination, and serving as a liaison to the executives at events and meetings.

We intend for the Executive Assistant to transition into a role on the marketing team after one year.


This role is full time and based in the Los Angeles area, with no specific office location but frequent in-person meetings in and around the Los Angeles area as necessary for the role.

The Executive Assistant will be expected to work out of the CEO's home two days per week.


What you'll do:


  • Provide comprehensive support to the executive team and key team initiatives, serving as a coordinator with responsibilities including managing multiple tasks concurrently, ensuring professionalism, confidentiality, timely delivery, and excellent client service, as well as overseeing expanded staff meetings, meeting logistics, presentations, and the management of shared team information and resources on internal portals.
  • Ensure executives (including CEO and Presidents) are prepared for all internal/external meetings by effectively prioritizing, managing, and providing support to multiple demanding calendars.
  • Support the Tone sales and marketing teams and attend sales and marketing meetings.
  • Provide both routine & nonroutine administrative support, handling a high volume of competing administrative task requests (via multiple internal stakeholders) that require professional discernment on appropriate urgency/prioritization to complete.
  • Represent Stem in front of partners, vendors, clients, investors, and new recruits.
  • Organize teambuilding events, happy hours, and social activities as requested.
  • Use considerable judgment and discretion in completing work assignments and handling confidential information.
  • Employ effective communication with various stakeholders throughout the organization and with external partners.
  • 1+ years of supporting executives or senior leadership as an assistant or coordinator in a fastpaced environment
  • A growth mindset and an interest in working in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, multitask, and problem solve issues while managing competing priorities and commitments to deadlines
  • Ability to quickly learn organizational structure and the objectives of the team
  • Proven track record demonstrating ability to work effectively with mínimal supervision
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and ability to work crossfunctionally with executives (both internal & external)
  • Highly organized and detailoriented
  • Ability to complete work assignments efficiently, without sacrificing a high degree of quality
  • High levels of integrity and discretion
  • A terrific work ethic accompanied by an everpositive, getitdone attitude
  • History of creative problem solving, analytical skills, ability to work well collaboratively and under pressure
  • High level of emotional maturity and ability to adapt quickly to consistently changing schedules and circumstances
  • Created and worked on digital marketing and social media campaigns
  • You will be required to work out of the CEO's Los Angeles home office two days per week

The salary range for this job is $65,000-75,000. This is a good faith effort at the time of posting.

This range is base salary only and does not include equity, benefits, and any other compensatory components of the role.
