Overview:
Pay range for this position is $ $50.34/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure.

***: The Practice Setting Coordinator is a shared role for frontline nurses with adult learning experience to engage in setting practice competency and curriculum standards for the ministry. The Practice Setting Coordinator is responsible for ensuring practice is standardized across each specialty without deviation or variability. The position works collaboratively with ministry stakeholders to ensure consistency and integrity of the nursing practice standards for new and existing nurses.


This is a Hybrid-Working position, meaning it may have a remote-working schedule at the discretion of leadership after training and orientation. Our team is open to hiring individuals who may live outside of the Central Region.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Experience: 5 years of clinical experience Education or experience in adult learning, such as clinical instructor, educator, advanced courses in precepting or other adult learning theory, etc.
  • Licensure/ Certification: Specialty certification required (based on specialty area) Basic Life Support Certification
  • Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Education: Master's degree in nursing
  • Experience: 2 years of leadership experience
  • Licensure/ Certification: Leadership or Nursing Professional Development
  • Board Certification (NPD-BC)
