- Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, including IT administrators, engineers, and support staff.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT Support infrastructure, including networks, telecommunications, and help desk.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address any issues or bottlenecks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and develop solutions to support their operations.
- Lead IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and allocate resources accordingly.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and take proactive measures to mitigate issues and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, including contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and service level agreements.
- Evaluate vendor products and services to ensure they meet the company's requirements and standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience (7+ years) in IT management, with a track record of leading successful IT projects and teams.
- Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, systems administration, networking, and security.
- Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is a plus.
- Knowledge of industry best practices, compliance standards, and regulations related to IT.
