- Plan, implement, and evaluate annual giving campaigns to achieve fundraising goals.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with donors, alumni, parents, and friends of the school to increase philanthropic support.
- Coordinate stewardship activities, including acknowledgment letters, donor recognition events, and personalized communications.
- Support the administration and stewardship of endowed funds.
- Write, design, and edit advancement materials including annual fund brochures, appeal letters, and quarterly newsletters.
- Collaborate with the Advancement Director to develop strategies for donor engagement and retention.
- Maintain accurate donor records and provide regular reports on fundraising progress.
- Assist in the planning and execution of special events and fundraising initiatives.
- Stay informed about best practices and trends in annual giving and stewardship.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in fundraising, annual giving, or donor relations preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in donor management software (Veracross preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite, Canva, and Finalsite.

Annual Giving and Stewardship Associate
Summary: Sandy Spring Friends School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our Advancement team as an Annual Giving and Stewardship Associate. The Annual Giving and Stewardship Associate will play a crucial role in supporting the school's fundraising efforts by managing annual giving campaigns, cultivating donor relationships, and ensuring thoughtful stewardship of donors.
