Panakeia, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, is seeking a results-oriented
human resources professional for our company with the ability to create and implement a comprehensive human resources experience. This is a professional position requiring discretion and the ability to work independently and in a team environment. This position has growth potential. We are open to Part-Time, Independent Contractor or part-time leading to full time. Benefits are available for employees working 32 hours or more.


Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Demonstrates the highest level of integrity and confidentiality. Maintains personal employee information including pay, demographics, etc.
  • Coordinates applicant flow process from recruitment through selection and onboarding.
  • Coordinates hiring needs with leadership. Places recruitment ads, reviews resumes, and conducts initial interviews of job applicants.
  • Create, implement and conduct onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Collaborate with leadership to monitor Performance Evaluation Program (including 90day and annual reviews) for all employees.
  • Investigate causes of employee disputes and grievances and recommends corrective action.
  • Administers benefits and compensation programs, including, but not limited to, Healthcare, 401(k), Workers Comp, STD, Unemployment, Cobra, Leave of Absences, etc. Ensure all information is disseminated, collected and processed according to deadlines.
  • Collaborate with managers on employee performance and employee teambuilding activities. Recommend strategies to motivate employees and increase retention.
  • Respond to basic Human Resource related questions regarding policy, PTO, etc.
  • Keep up to date with current employment law for NY, NJ, FL and WV.
  • Maintain Employee Handbook is current at all times.
  • Assist with training programs
  • Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
  • Travel to all company locations as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly experienced and proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and other software and tools needed to be effective.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5years experience working in a Human Resources role or department.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
