About the Role:
The project focuses on supply chain network planning to optimize channels.

Skill Requirements:
Mandatory Skills: Hadoop, Hive, HBase, ETL, Spark, and Talend
Secondary Skills: Java

Job Description:
Responsibilities include maintaining and migrating ETL Talend jobs to Spark, managing Hadoop Jobs, and redesigning data streaming from legacy systems using Java.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
7-8 years of experience in Data, BI or Platform Engineering, Data Warehousing/ETL, or Software Engineering
4 years of experience in projects involving solution implementation using SDLC

Skills & Abilities Good to Have:

Experience with cloud managed services for Client/Ops tech stack like Vertex AI, Client OPS, etc.
Familiarity with feature engineering tools/techniques such as PCA, featureTools, Pyfeat, etc.
Proficiency in model development using collaborative filtering or look-alike models
Effective communication and data presentation skills with the ability to convey data-driven stories
Quick adaptability to new technologies, tools, and techniques
Flexibility, responsiveness, and the capacity to excel in fast-paced environments
Collaborative work capability with both technical and non-technical team members

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field
5 years of IT experience developing and implementing business systems
Experience with defect or incident tracking software for 5 years
Proficient in writing technical documentation in software development contexts for 5 years
3 years of experience with IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework
Leadership experience of 3 years, with or without direct reports
5 years of involvement with source code control systems
Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools
5 years of systems analysis experience, defining technical requirements, and high-level design for complex solutions

Data Engineering Requirements:

7 years of specific experience in Hadoop or Cloud Bigdata components
Proficiency in Java/Scala/Python, SQL, Scripting, Teradata, Hadoop (Sqoop, Hive, Pig, Map Reduce), Spark (Spark Streaming, MLib), Kafka, or equivalent Cloud Bigdata components
