Overview:

Parkwest is seeking Cocktail Server to provide provide excellent customer service to all guests while taking and serving beverage orders during assigned shift.

Functions as an integral part of the F & B team by ensuring that beverages are served according to the casino's established standards of service.

Responsibilities:

Greets and welcomes all guests in a pleasant and professional manner.
Take orders, deliver drinks and meet the required standards of performance by meeting policies, procedures, work instructions, training initiatives, codes of conduct and other directives.
Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, prices, preparation method/time, major ingredients and quality, standards of taste, appearance, texture and serving temperature.
Respond quickly to and resolve any complaints to the customer's complete satisfaction.
While working on the casino floor follow all casino guidelines pertaining to security and be sensitive to each customers' gaming experience.
Adheres to all required guidelines stipulated by the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control.
Adheres to last call for alcohol as directed by the casino.
Specific tasks include, but are not limited to, picking up all alcoholic bottles from the gaming floor before 2am; assists with cleaning tables after each customer, adhering to proper cash and credit card handling policies, following suggested upselling techniques, etc.
Must be able to work all shifts, overtime and holidays.
Other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma, G.E.D, or equivalent.
24 years' experience in an environment of comparable quality or equivalent. Must be able to pass mandatory screening including a background check and drug test. Must possess a California Food Handler Card. Must possess RBS Certification. Able to deal effectively and interact well with customers and coworkers. Able to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner. Available for full time work which may include weekends and evening scheduling; and ready for all programs and activities. Able to work varied shifts and flexible schedules. Able to communicate clearly with team members. Requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively. Able to work independently Able to work within a team environment
