Overview:

The key goal of the Store Maintenance Team Member at QuickChek is to perform duties in regards to the upkeep and presentation of the store.

This individual provides support to the store team by maintaining areas throughout the inside and outside of the store.

In a Fuel Store, additional duties involving the Fuel Area and will be the responsibility of the Store Maintenance Team Member.

The individual is required to maintain cleanliness and organizational standards throughout the location.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide exceptional customer service and tend to customers in a prompt, efficient, friendly manner
  • Perform cleaning and organizational tasks, as assigned
  • Perform maintenance and general upkeep of the property
  • Clean the parking lot and keep landscaping free of debris
  • Complete the Fuel Checklist daily and perform required tasks, as needed, to ensure compliance
  • Communicate any issues with the Store Leader
  • Clean fuel dispensers, fire extinguisher cases, fuel storage boxes, and fuel kiosks
  • Change fuel prices on dispensers, as requested
  • Maintain washer fluid and paper towel levels
  • Empty and maintain recycling machines
  • Empty garbage cans and cigarette receptacles
  • Empty vacuums
  • Maintain and clean the carwash, if applicable
  • Shovel and salt during inclement weather
  • Clean store windows and doors
  • Clean and maintain the restrooms
  • Work through the cleanliness checklists
  • Complete and schedule minor preventive maintenance tasks
  • Clean interior floor throughout the store, coolers, and storage areas
  • Keep uptodate on new policies and procedures
  • Attend all mandatory/scheduled store meetings
  • Practice Loss Prevention policies

Qualifications:

  • Completion of required onthejob training programs and learning activities
  • Personal behaviors must align with QuickChek's values
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be alert and attentive; impairment for any reason is not permitted
  • Must be a team player and be able to communicate effectively with customers and Team Members

Compensation Disclosure Statement:

Pay is from $ $16.10 / hour QuickChek & Murphy USA take into consideration a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: experience, skill sets, training, licensure and certifications, education, as well as business and organizational needs.

The listed range is specific to the base hourly rate or annual salary and does not include additional benefits, perks, or bonus eligibility (when applicable) comprising the total benefits package.
