    Description

    Salary:
    $25 - $30 per hour
    We are a leading structural engineering firm serving the Gulf Coast for decades. We have the ability to handle all size jobs including residential, commercial and government projects.

    We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Intermediate Drafter to join our dynamic engineering team.

    This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile projects in the structural engineering and architecture sectors.

    Translate conceptual designs into detailed construction plans, ensuring they comply with project specifications, design standards, and safety regulations.
    Utilize advanced drafting software to create 2D and 3D models.
    Conduct regular quality control checks to identify and correct errors in drawings.
    Participate in project meetings, providing drafting and design insights as needed.
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
    Minimum of 2 years of experience in drafting, with a focus on structural engineering and architecture.
    Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks.
    Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and architectural styles.
    Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
    Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to design challenges.
    A professional portfolio showcasing previous drafting projects is highly desirable.
