ISSA Records Assistant (Temporary, Part-Time)

University of Notre Dame

The University of Notre Dame is hiring a part-time temporary International Student Records Assistant to assist the International Student and Scholar Affairs' Student Immigration Advising team with operations that relate to student and University compliance with U.S.

immigration laws.

This role will assist with records management for F-1 students and process immigration document requests, specifically for incoming student and work authorization document requests.

This position starts in July or August 2024, averaging 10-15 hours a week.


Minimum Qualifications:

- must be a US citizen or permanent resident to gain designation by the Department of Homeland Security as a Designated School Official (DSO)
- excellent customer service and interpersonal skills that create a hospitable, supportive environment for international students
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- strong analysis and problem-solving skills
- detail oriented, accurate, and efficient in processing tasks
- proficient in Microsoft and Google tools, and comfortable learning and using data management software, like Sunapsis and Banner


Preferred Qualifications:

- experience with data and record management
- interest in process improvement
