- Conduct engineering observations and assessments of geotechnical activities.
- Perform special inspection and materials testing services as needed.
- Prepare detailed reports of soils, materials, and inspection services.
- Collaborate with team members to carry out testing and observation services.
- Manage projects from start to finish, interacting with clients, scheduling work, monitoring budgets, and ensuring quality control.
- Stay updated on regulations, policies, and technologies in your field.
- Create proposals and contribute to promoting services.
- Adhere to safety regulations and policies while performing field, laboratory, and office activities.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and comply with driving regulations.
- Travel frequently within the region, with occasional out-of-town trips.
- Use company equipment properly and efficiently.
- Complete projects within budget and meet client needs.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to enhance productivity and communication.
- Develop business contacts and support marketing efforts.
- Engage in professional organizations and work towards professional registrations.
- Perform additional tasks to meet company goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geological Engineering with at least 3 years of experience, OR;
- Master's degree in Civil or Geological Engineering with 2 or more years of experience.
- Certification required in relevant areas.
- Demonstrated proficiency in engineering principles and problem-solving.
- Experience with computer software, especially Microsoft Office.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and communicate technical information clearly.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel and adapt schedules as needed.
- Capability to work in various environmental conditions and conduct field work.
