Responsibilities for Finance Manager

  • Supervise a small accounting staff and monitor the daytoday financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions)
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting
  • Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership
  • Support project analysis, validation of plans, and adhoc requests
  • Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
  • Cost analysis, pricing, cost volume production on Government and DOD Request for Proposals (RFP)

Qualifications for Finance Manager

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA a plus
  • 58 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis
  • Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
  • Ability to work and effectively communicate with seniorlevel business partners
  • Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decisionmaking skills
  • Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc.
  • Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Secret Clearance or ability to obtain at a minimum a Security Clearance

Skills/Experience for Finance Manager

  • Manage multiple cost pools and allocations
  • 3+ years of Deltek CostPoint 7.x
  • 3+ years Cognos Query Studio 11.x
  • 3+ years Federal/DoD Contracting
  • 3+ years pricing Federal/DoD Request for Proposals (RFP)
  • Working knowledge of the FAR and DFAR
