- Supports and keeps sales and management staff informed of major projects; assists office and warehouse staff with application and product information.
- Provides customer and team member product training and sales call technical support.
- Provides technical sales and marketing support to Professional Pump customers and staff.
- Provides the highest quality quotations possible for the specific application as outlined by the customer or Account Manager.
- Accurately prices, verifies contractual obligations, internal costs, agency sales and stock/drop-shipments.
- Develops the product and application knowledge necessary to service the needs of our customers and sales staff.
- Plans and implements process improvement initiatives in distribution and connected departments as directed.
- Assists the service department with technical issues having to do with build-ups and repairs.
- Helps train and mentor new inside sales and application engineers.
- Helps with integration and training at other branches as directed by acquisition integration lead.
- Helps create tools to increase the efficiency of inside teams.
- Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field preferred.
- Minimum seven years related experience and/or training; Experienced engineer that has knowledge of pump equipment.
- Ability to handle a varied and fast-paced workload to meet customer requirements for projects.
- Ability to work with various computer programs including vendor based software.
