Acker is looking for a permanent full-time Warehouse Associate that will be a support to Acker Storage LLC's warehouse operations. This position work as part of a team to unload, inventory and code inbound products.

  • Inspect product for defects and damages.
  • Unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately.
  • Box and barcode inventory with accuracy
  • Check, verify and fulfill outbound orders.
  • Conduct frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
  • Assists with periodic physical inventory audits.
  • Operates forklift truck when necessary.
  • Organize warehouse space.
  • Abide by all company safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
  • Performs other related duties as requested.

Requirements:


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Education and Experience:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Forklift operator certification a plus.

Physical Requirements:


  • Must be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, stand, sit and reach.
  • Stand or walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to regularly lift and move 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Navigate a warehouse and reach items both high and low.

Working Conditions:


  • Temperature controlled warehouse environment.
  • Working hours are typically from 8am to 5pm with a half hour lunch.

Must be available to work overtime, including Saturdays when requested.
