Trexis Insurance / Trexis One Insurance based in Franklin, Tennessee, is one of the leading private passengers nonstandard to mid-market auto carriers.
We are currently looking for Auto Claims Casualty Manager.Casualty Manager will manage Casualty Department including, but not limited to, control workflows of the Casualty group, audit work product, monitor performance of Casualty group, interview, hire, and performance manage Casualty personnel.
Work closely with other managers in the Claims Department. Responsible for all performance in the Casualty Group.Essential Responsibilities
- Overall management of the Casualty unit staff including management of LAE while balancing the BI and UMBI metrics for the Department to ensure a proper Lowest Ultimate Cost. Review existing procedures and identify and implement opportunities for improved efficiency
- Chair our biweekly Claim Committee process including responsibility preparation and presentation of each claim submitted
- Responsibility for the Average Paid metric for BI and UMBI claims closed, timely closure is also essential
- Responsibility for maintaining excellent quality of work product in the Claims Department by means of our internal audits as well as your own observations through file reviews. You will be joined by the VP, AVP, and Litigation Manager as well as random Claims Supervisors to complete audits
- Responsible for encouraging our BI Cashout program including the use of our Meds Incurred and Future Med releases
Required Knowledge, Skills Abilities
- Management experience, ability to meet deadlines, knowledge of law, anatomy, medical practices, and automobile repair
- A minimum of 5 years claims experience with at least 2 of those years in supervision
Qualification Guidelines
- Bachelor's Degree required
- A Law Degree or Professional designation from our industry such as a CPCU is strongly preferred
- In lieu of a Law Degree of CPCU, a designation such as SCLA, CCLA, or AIC is required
