Entry & Mid-Level Manufacturing Technicians

  • New Facility South McQueen Road; Chandler
  • Available Shifts:
-
Day:Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (6a - 6p)
-
Night: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday + every other Saturday (6p - 6a)


Manufacturing/Production Technician Summary:


  • Performs the setup, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
  • Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.
  • Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems
  • May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
  • Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems
  • May assist in the selection and setup of specialized test equipment

Responsibilities:


  • Demonstrates knowledge of the overall organization
  • Demonstrates knowledge of at least two or more functions
  • Work assignments entail coordination of several different functional activities
  • Has work experience and is knowledgeable of practices that integrate work product with other functional teams
  • Works under normal supervision
  • Follows established direction
  • Freedom to decide on daily activities and use new methodologies and make decisions to meet job requirements
  • Work is reviewed by functional leaders to ensure coordination of objectives
  • Contributes to projects that drive organizational collaboration
  • Work product is important to more than function
  • Failure to accomplish results may result on timing or cost impact for program or product
  • Nondelivery of work product may result in the allocation of additional resources
  • HS Diploma is required
  • Being able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Shift Flexibility
  • Prior experience working in manufacturing environment, including (but not limited to):
  • Fork Lift experience
  • Materials Handling
  • Machine Cleaning
  • Quality Assurance
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by export laws of the US. In order to be eligible, you must be either a US Citizen or Permanent Resident

$ $27.00 per hour

Education:


  • High school or equivalent (required)

Experience:


  • Manufacturing: 2 years (preferred)
  • Electronics: 2 years (preferred)
Materials Handling: 2 years (preferred)
Thin Film Coating: 2 years (preferred)
