    STAFF ACCOUNTANT

    Tabulate is a fast-growing, financial technology and service company based in Austin, Texas. We handle Bookkeeping, Payroll, HR, and Business Analytics for some of the most amazing restaurants and bars throughout the country.     We're seeking an entry-level Staff Accountant to join our team. This will be a unique opportunity to grow your career by developing your accounting expertise in a fast-changing software environment. Ideally, we're looking for:

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
    • Proficient in Excel and possess a working knowledge of accounting concepts
    • Experience with various accounting and operations software platform a plus (such as cloud-based accounting tools like Xero and ​QuickBooks ​Online

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Client-centric interaction and problem solving; Answer and resolve all client questions/inquiries
    • Handle general accounting tasks across multiple clients; including bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance/bookkeeping, balance sheet reconciliations, accounts payable management, preparing financial statements
    • Oversee a high volume of bank and credit card transactions
    • Research and resolve client issues as they arise
    • Lead project management activities to ensure all client deliverables are completed on time at high quality
    • Maintain the highest degree of professional standards
    • Maintain strict client confidentiality
