Job Summary & Key Responsibilities
Examine Printed Circuit Board parts and assemblies to ensure they meet quality requirements and standards.

  • Thoroughly inspect Printed Circuit Board parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Carry out acceptance activities following quality plans and procedures
  • Conduct moderately complex inspections as part of acceptance processes
  • Refer more complex inspections to senior inspectors
  • Frequently work independently without direct supervision
  • Document results of acceptance and inspection activities by entering data into the MES
  • Assist in dealing with nonconforming material identification and disposition
  • Report quality issues and observations to the appropriate personnel
  • Perform measurements and visual checks during inspections and acceptance procedures

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Intermediate understanding of ERP and MES systems
  • Certification in IPC610 and J-STD00
  • Ability to interpret job orders, process sheets, instructions, drawings, and schematics
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks, meeting established goals and deadlines

Required Experience & Education

  • High school diploma; Associate degree in a relevant technical field is preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of pertinent work experience
  • Previous exposure to a PCB manufacturing setting
