Registered Nurse - Lake Mary, United States - Reproductive Medicine Associates- RMA Network
Description
RMA is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team in our Lake Mary, location.Responsibilities include:
- Contribute to physicians' effectiveness by identifying patient care issues; provide information and commentary pertinent to patient care plan; recommend possible options and courses of action as appropriate; implement physician directives
- Coordinate care for assigned patients following the required RMA protocols and procedures, including the appropriate workflow chart processes and performance benchmarks
- Document patient care services in EMR system
- Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients; comfort patients by anticipating their anxieties and answering questions and concerns
- Resolve patient problems and concerns by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies
- Patient education in regards to treatment plan and medications through elearning and other patient education available
- Follow up with patients regarding laboratory values and semen analysis results
- Assist physician with inoffice procedures as needed
- Maintain a cooperative and productive working relationship intradepartmentally as well as interdepartmentally
Requirements:
- 35 Years experience as an RN
- BSN Degree required; active RN license without limitations required
- Strong clinical skills and a minimum of 6 months clinical experience is required; prior experience in women's healthcare preferred
- BCLS and/or ACLS and/or IV certification a plus
- High energy, excellent interpersonal and multitasking skills, and demonstrated selfdirected work ethic are required.
- Excellent listening/counseling/interpersonal, and communications skills required to manage sensitive patient situation properly
- Resourceful and well organized; committed to detail and followup
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate good judgment and remain composed under stress
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office; prior EMR experience preferred
- Must be available for weekend rotation and some holidays
- Travel to local satellite offices as needed.
