Description

RMA is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team in our Lake Mary, location.

Responsibilities include:

Contribute to physicians' effectiveness by identifying patient care issues; provide information and commentary pertinent to patient care plan; recommend possible options and courses of action as appropriate; implement physician directives
Coordinate care for assigned patients following the required RMA protocols and procedures, including the appropriate workflow chart processes and performance benchmarks
Document patient care services in EMR system
Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients; comfort patients by anticipating their anxieties and answering questions and concerns
Resolve patient problems and concerns by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies
Patient education in regards to treatment plan and medications through elearning and other patient education available
Follow up with patients regarding laboratory values and semen analysis results
Assist physician with inoffice procedures as needed
Maintain a cooperative and productive working relationship intradepartmentally as well as interdepartmentally

Requirements:

35 Years experience as an RN
BSN Degree required; active RN license without limitations required
Strong clinical skills and a minimum of 6 months clinical experience is required; prior experience in women's healthcare preferred
BCLS and/or ACLS and/or IV certification a plus
High energy, excellent interpersonal and multitasking skills, and demonstrated selfdirected work ethic are required.
Excellent listening/counseling/interpersonal, and communications skills required to manage sensitive patient situation properly
Resourceful and well organized; committed to detail and followup
Ability to work independently, demonstrate good judgment and remain composed under stress
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office; prior EMR experience preferred
Must be available for weekend rotation and some holidays
Travel to local satellite offices as needed.
