    Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm, has an immediate opening for a Paralegal (5+ years) in its growing Tampa office. We are seeking applicants with enthusiastic, positive, dispositions and strong organizational skills. Ideal candidates should have experience working in a fast-paced defense firm.

    Candidates must have five or more years of litigation experience. Ideal candidates will have a solid knowledge of litigation support and case management, experience organizing large caseloads, discovery, trial preparation and experience assisting at trial, and familiarity with the Florida and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. Responsibilities include document review and production, drafting and responding to discovery, indexing, exhibit preparation, investigation and research, and drafting miscellaneous motions.

    Requirements

    • ABA approved Paralegal Certificate (preferred, but not required)
    • 5+ years of trial and litigation paralegal experience
    • Qualified applicant will be detail-oriented and have the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced office environment
    • Billing and timekeeping experience is preferred
    • Knowledge of court rules regarding the civil discovery process
    • Ability to independently prepare pleadings, written discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, non-party requests, open records requests, discovery motions and other discovery documents
    • Experience managing and organizing electronic files, reviewing documents, preparing timelines/medical chronologies, researching/investigation for case management, preparation of trial exhibits and binders, as well as general trial support
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as close attention to detail
    • Proficient computer skills (Win10, Microsoft Office applications, etc.)
    • Candidates should be comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced, team-structured setting
    • Ability to work with witnesses, experts, third parties, and opposing counsel to obtain information pertinent to the case
    • Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced Firm preferred
    • Able to maintain a positive and professional attitude under stress
    • iManage and iTimeKeep experience is a plus

    Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000 commensurate with experience and skills
