Pennant Solutions Group is hiring a Linux Administrator to support SSA in Woodlawn, MD. This is a hybrid opportunity.

We are seeking a Linux Administrator who will support several projects at SSA. The position is located in Woodlawn, MD.


Day to Days:

  • Analyze and test various commercial software for purchase considerations
  • Administration and maintenance of antispam/antivirus software
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for the processes and software
  • Development and maintenance of the inhouse software tools utilizing Perl, Bash, Python, Powershell, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, SQL.

Requirements:


  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience required with Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge and understanding of Active Directory and Azure
  • Exchange 2019, Exchange for Office 36
  • Experience in administration of Sendmail, Postfix
  • Sophos PureMessage or other antivirus and antispam software
  • Installing, troubleshooting and administering software on Linux platform

Preferred Skills:

  • Ansible, Splunk, PostgreSQL, C, C++
Scripting and Programming in Linux and Windows platforms: Perl, Bash, Python

  • PowerShell
  • JavaScript with framework such as JQuery
  • Knowledge of Structural Query Language (SQL), experience with Microsoft SQL server
