- Develops broad knowledge and skills focused on transportation projects for public clients (e.g., roadway Geometrics, ADA Ramps, Grading)
- Performs engineering calculations, prepares detailed design drawings, and specifications
- Interacts with clients, internal teams, permitting agencies, and other consulting firms
- Supports project management activities associated with municipal engineering projects
- Assists in identifying and pursuing new projects and work opportunities
- Collaborates with entry-level engineers and technicians on project tasks
- Travels to work sites and client locations for project reviews and progress checks
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program
- Professional Engineer License or ability to obtain one within a year
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience
- Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D
- Valid California driver's license and insurability required
- Minimum 5 years of experience, with at least 2 years as an Associate Engineer
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders
- Preparation of draft design reports under senior staff direction
