JOB OVERVIEW
The Key Objective of the
Driver/Warehouse Worker is to contribute to the growth and profitability of Multi-Pak by effectively executing the functions of
Warehouse.
- Driving components safely between the Multi-Pak warehouses.
- Ability to accurately pull components from a pick ticket for staging purposes.
- Loading and unloading components between the Multi-Pak warehouses.
- Shipping all finished goods prepared by Multi-Pak and signing the appropriate shipping documentation. Visually inspecting the conditions of all trucks loading Multi-Pak finished goods.
- Accurately completing the Warehouse Shipping paperwork. Visually inspecting all pallets to ensure they meet client specifications.
- Preparing production lines to run by ensuring that all materials for a run are in the room prior to the commencement of production.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records in the warehouse.
- Assisting with the investigation of any inventory discrepancies.
- Assisting with the preparation of reconciliations.
- Assisting with the maintenance of equipment as necessary.
- Alerting Quality Supervisor and the Operations Manager if any problems arise. Working with Quality and Operations Manager to troubleshoot problems.
- Complying with all SOPs and cGMPs.
- Ensuring that all garbage and recyclable materials are properly disposed each day.
- Maintaining the warehouse clean and free of debris at all times. Repairing the facility as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Key Objective of the
Driver/Warehouse Worker is achieved if the annual review shows that:
- Receiving and Shipping functions are conducted efficiently, in a timely manner and according to all SOPs and cGMPs.
- Pallets of components are moved safely and accurately between the Multi-Pak warehouses.
- Components and Finished Goods are stored in an orderly manner to prevent confusion and product deterioration.
- Accurate inventory records are maintained.
- Accurate shipping and receiving records are maintained.
- Staging all production rooms accurately and in a timely manner to facilitate the start up of production lines.
- Warehousing problems are identified and communicated in a timely manner to ensure that appropriate action can be taken by management to correct the problem.
- The Warehouse is maintained in a clean and orderly manner.
- All garbage and recyclables are properly disposed of on a daily basis.
- A collaborative and positive attitude is maintained. A desire to learn is exhibited.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- A high school graduate with actual experience in shipping, receiving and inventory management of a wellmanaged manufacturing company. Bilingual is a plus (English-Spanish).

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to liftup to 30 pounds frequently and 45 pounds on occasion.
- Must be able to remain in the stationary position for up to 50% of the time.
- Must be able to walk or stand up to 90% of the time.
- The person in this position is sometimes required to function in narrow aisles or passageways while walking throughout the warehouse area.
- The person in this position will need to occasionally kneel, climb, crawl, climb and/or reach to complete their job duties.
Pay:
$ $21.00 per hour
Day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
