At the County Office of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald, located in Freiburg, the position of a part-time clerk with a workload of 80% will be available in the Department of Nature Conservation starting January 1st, 2024.

Your main tasks will include:

Processing applications and administrative procedures in the field of nature and species conservation law for the municipalities of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald County
Designation/modification of landscape protection areas and natural monuments, as well as granting exemptions and permits
Writing statements as a public authority in planning procedures, construction projects, and water management procedures

Your qualifications:

Bachelor of Arts in Public Management, Administrative Specialist or a comparable administrativerelated degree
Experience in the field of regulatory administration and interest in nature conservation, ecology, and environmental protection are advantageous
Independent, selfmotivated, and resultsoriented work style
Strong assertiveness and willingness to work cooperatively
Good knowledge of MS Office products and GIS
