Description

• Secure bid invitations from general contractors, plan rooms, and websites. Download all required files from client sites.
• Review drawings and specifications and proposed project site conditions to include in final project estimate.
• Demonstrate proficiency in recording and quantifying square footage.
• Analyze and compile estimate data that impact the cost of labor, materials, equipment requirements, location and other factors to ensure a high quality and timely estimate.
• Prepare pricing information for the bid as required. Present estimate and participate in bid reviews with senior management to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Obtain bid results from owners (including: number of bidders, bid amounts).
• Develop and maintain business relationships to increase bid opportunities in the local market.
• Capable of building basic submittals. Able to build submittals either in hard format (copies from the manual) or soft format (PDF documents).
• Prepare Requests for Information and tracks status with RFI log
• Prepare Submittals and tracks status with Submittal log
• Assist other Project Management Team members as required

• Able to read and understand blueprints and do take-offs
• Proficiency with all MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Quick to learn alternative programs and software related to construction project management
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to meet hard deadlines
• Must have an eye for detail and be selfmotivated
