WHAT YOU WILL DO:


  • Make collection calls as needed based on payment terms.
  • Prepare and send statements or collection letters to clients with outstanding balances.
  • Handle inbound client phone calls for designated client base and serve as back up in the absence of A/R team members.
  • Coordinate with sales team and clients on any unapplied order payments.
  • Prepare accurate daily cash receipts and reconcile warehouse daily deposits.
  • Maintain an accurate unapplied cash payment log and follow up on NSF (nonsufficient fund) payments.
  • Prepare various month end reports.
  • Assist with additional accounting projects as requested by management.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH:


  • 24 years accounts receivable experience in a high volume environment.
  • Strong MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Capable of using good judgement to identify the best approach to handling customer payment issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and persistent follow up skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload to achieve the most efficient outcome.
  • Outgoing, friendly and approachable personality.

  • Lift, push, pull, carry, and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally up to 30 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision and Distance vision.
  • Maintain regular and routine attendance.
