Forage Laboratory Technician

Summary:

Agri-King is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Forage Laboratory Technician.

As a crucial member of our organization, you will be responsible for processing forage and feed samples and handling customer data.

Essential Functions:

• Represent Agri-King in a professional manner, maintaining a positive and customerfocused attitude.
• Organize and process customer data related to forage and feed samples, ensuring accurate recordkeeping.
• Conduct sample processing for nutrient analysis, adhering to established protocols.
• Communicate effectively with customers and technical staff to ensure timely completion of sample results.
• Work from Agri-King's lab located in Fulton, IL, for 40 hours per week.
• Develop and enhance the necessary skills to efficiently manage the daytoday workload.

Qualifications:

• High school degree or GED is required.
• Proficiency in basic software, including Microsoft Office, is essential.
• Ability to thrive in a fastpaced team environment.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• While agriculture and livestock knowledge is desired, it is not a mandatory requirement.

Work Environment:

• The majority of work is performed in a productionstyle environment.
• Typical work schedule: Monday-Friday, 10 am 6:30 pm (overtime may be required).
• Personal protective equipment must be worn as necessary.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Starting salary
  :$31,000 with opportunities for raises.
