Coastal Florida Lead CRNA Opening - Ambulatory Surgical Center Setting

Evaluate the patient assessment pre-operatively by interviewing and examining the patient: assesses data and selects appropriate anesthetic. Formulates a patient specific plan for anesthesia care
Effectively and efficiently provides individualized safe anesthesia of the highest quality. Perform medical non-surgical procedures, i.e. IV insertion, intubation, hemodynamic and electrolyte balance, airway management in routine and acute medical situations
Monitor the patient's immediate post-operative care and performs post anesthesia evaluations of the patient. Post-operative pain management modalities are implemented.


Prepare drugs:
maintains anesthesia equipment to keep in safe operating condition
Assists with positioning and transport of patient to the next level of care
36 hours/week in direct patient care
Strategize and manage staff
Continual recognition and successful implementation of processes as it relates to anesthesia quality improvements and communicate to staff
Collaborate with Practice Manager on agenda and education for monthly staff meetings
Assist daily with EPIC issues in conjunction with EPIC superuser
Assume charge duties for counter parts when one not available due to meetings, in a case, days off or vacation, takes vacation on opposite weeks
Work with Executive Director on budget and forecasting of staffing needs
