- Developing the vision, direction, and strategy for the firm's state tax planning and controversy sector.
- Staying informed about individual, partnership, and corporate tax developments across all 50 states.
- Working with external service providers to ensure the firm's compliance with state tax obligations.
- Handling tax controversy matters as needed.
- Collaborating with teams in the Finance and Legal departments to offer advice on state tax issues.
- Communicating with the firm's partners regarding state and local tax affairs.
- Overseeing strategic projects identified by the Finance Division.
- 15 years of experience in advising on state tax matters
- CPA or JD qualification
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accountancy
- Experience in public accounting or a similar role at a large corporation
- Preferably, experience in partnership taxation
