- Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to generate referral business and build relationships with a variety of individuals and professionals in the Real Estate sector.

- Promote First United within designated markets in collaboration with bank personnel.
- Complete thorough loan applications and assess applicant information to determine the suitability of the desired loan program.
- Analyze credit reports and borrower documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Offer suitable loan options based on the borrower's financial status, future plans, and preferences.
- Submit necessary loan documentation to the processing department for further review and approval.
- Guide borrowers through the application, approval, and closing phases, ensuring a seamless experience for customers.
- Attend loan closings and uphold exceptional customer service standards.
- Meet or exceed First United's best practices and production standards.
- Participate in scheduled production meetings.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while upholding ethical standards and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Complete tasks as requested by Executive Management or Supervisor.
- Adhere to all First United Policies and Procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a mortgage lending environment.
- Proven track record of sales success in mortgage lending.
- Currently employed as a Mortgage Loan Consultant, closing a minimum of 2 self-sourced loans monthly.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to work independently and receive direction as needed.
- Demonstrated technical expertise in Bank, Mortgage, Federal, and State lending regulations.
