Description

Responsibilities:

  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand
  • Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition
  • Stock supplies such as food or utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars
  • Sweep or scrub floors
  • Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
  • Perform other kitchen duties as assigned

Requirements:


  • Previous experience working in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and take direction from supervisors
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds

Skills:


  • Kitchen maintenance and cleaning
  • Culinary knowledge and food service experience
  • Ability to clean dishes and utensils effectively
  • Basic food preparation skills
  • Banquet setup and breakdown experience is a plus
  • Hospitality mindset and willingness to help out wherever needed in the restaurant

Pay:
$20.00 per hour


Shift:

  • Day shift
  • Morning shift

Weekly day range:

  • Every weekend

  • Dishwashing: 1 year (required)
