    Description


    BargeDesign Solutions is currently seeking to fill the position of StructuralEngineer (PE) in one of our Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, or Ohiolocations.

    Remote work may also beavailable for this role.

    Responsibilities forthis position include:


    Serves as the technical structural lead and engineer ofrecord for a variety of projects including: Industrial, Commercial, Federal,Water/Wastewater, and Environmental projects.

    Directs BIM technicians and Structural Designers inpreparation of project plans. Conducts technical planning representinganalysis, creating designs, preparing reports, specifications, and othertasks.
    Provides technical guidance on project scope, budgets,and schedules for assignments.
    Supports PM providing technical leadership on largecomplex projects and typically works on multiple major projects
    Reviews work of other engineers and designers forconformity and quality assurance.
    Conducts site visits to monitor progress of project.
    Completes assignments within budget and schedule whileworking with design teams involving multiple disciplines
    Provides career development mentoring to early-careerengineers.
    Assists in client contact and communication, andattends client meetings
    Keeps informed of new developments and requirementsaffecting the organization for the purpose of recommending changes inprograms or applications.
    Performs other duties as required

    Education & Experience Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus onStructures from an ABET accredited university.
    Master's degree strongly preferred.
    Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience, 10+ yearspreferred
    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret job-relatedmanuals and documents
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
    Experience with Autodesk Revit is a plus
    Experience with water/wastewater structures is a plus
    Experience designing steel, concrete, masonry, and foundation structures
